Great news for fans of the hit isekai fantasy series, Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken! ABEMA is set to host a massive, non-stop free marathon broadcast covering the entire series, totaling over 100 hours of content.

ABEMA has decided to host a massive, non-stop free marathon broadcast covering the isekai fantasy series Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, exceeding 100 hours, starting May 22nd (Thursday).

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (commonly known as “Tensura”) is based on the highly popular reincarnation entertainment series by original author Fuse-shi and manga artist Kawakami Taiki-shi. It tells the story of the protagonist, Rimuru, who was reincarnated in a different world as a slime, and his adventures with his companions, using his wit and courage. Since the first season of the TV anime aired in 2018, its unique characters and dynamic battle scenes have captivated anime fans. In 2021, the second season and a spin-off anime aired for nine consecutive months. In 2022, the theatrical film Gekijouban Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Guren no Kizuna-hen (known in English as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond) was released, becoming a major hit with over 1 million attendees in Japan. The third season of the TV anime began airing in 2024, and alongside its final episode, the production of a fourth season and a second theatrical film has been announced.

This marathon broadcast will sequentially air the entire series for free, from TV anime Dai 1-ki to Dai 3-ki, three OVA (OAD) works, the gaiden Coriolis no Yume, the spin-off anime Tensura Nikki, and the theatrical film Guren no Kizuna-hen. The broadcast is scheduled to start on May 22nd (Thursday) at 4:00 PM and run for approximately five days until May 26th (Monday) at 2:00 AM on the Anime SPECIAL channel. Additionally, each broadcast episode will be available for free viewing for three days after its airing.
