Mahou Kishi Rayearth Wristwatches Featuring Shidou Hikaru, Ryuuzaki Umi, and Hououji Fuu Appear! Don’t Miss Mokona on the Back!
Wristwatches inspired by the characters from the TV anime Mahou Kishi Rayearth are now available! These items truly capture the essence of the series’ world and are currently open for pre-order on an EC site.
Mahou Kishi Rayearth is a fantasy manga by CLAMP that was serialized in “Nakayoshi” from the November 1993 issue to the April 1996 issue. The story follows three second-year middle school girls, Shidou Hikaru, Ryuuzaki Umi, and Hououji Fuu, who are summoned to the alternate world of Cefiro after a certain event. They become the legendary “Magic Knights” and embark on a journey to save Cefiro from crisis.
The series was adapted into an anime in 1994, with Shiina Hekiru voicing Shidou Hikaru, Yoshida Konami voicing Ryuuzaki Umi, and Kasahara Hiroko voicing Hououji Fuu. Marking the 30th anniversary of the TV anime’s broadcast, a new anime project was also launched in 2024. A new visual gazing upon Cefiro and more have been released.
Now, wristwatches (total of 3 models) inspired by Shidou Hikaru, Ryuuzaki Umi, and Hououji Fuu from Mahou Kishi Rayearth are available on the online store “AMNIBUS”. The watch faces feature the image color of each character as the base. The dial is surrounded by gold decorations, accompanied by the characters’ names and the script of their Mashin.
Each model features a larger stone at the hour marks, symbolizing the character. At the 6 o’clock position, their respective crests are included. Stones representing the other two Magic Knights are set at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions.
Also, pay close attention to Mokona laid out on the back!
The size of the watch face is 2.5cm vertical x 2.5cm horizontal, the belt width is 1.1cm, and the inner circumference is 16cm.
Each wristwatch is priced at 7,128 yen (including tax). Pre-orders are open until June 11th, with shipping scheduled to begin sequentially from mid-September.
