About Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken
Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken is an isekai reincarnation fantasy entertainment series where the protagonist is reincarnated into another world as a slime. Using the skills he acquires, he leverages his intelligence and bravery to gather companions. The original web novel, written by Fuse and serialized on the novel submission site “Shousetsuka ni Narou,” has surpassed 1 billion page views. The manga adaptation by Kawakami Taiki has also gained significant popularity. The series is affectionately known by its abbreviation, TenSura.
The Anime’s Journey So Far
The anime adaptation first aired its TV anime first season in October 2018, followed by a second season in January 2021. A movie adaptation, Gekijouban Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Guren no Kizuna Hen, was released nationwide in November 2022. As part of the “TenSura 10th Project” commemorating the 10th anniversary of the web novel’s serialization, the three-episode series Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Coleus no Yume was distributed in November 2023. The TV anime third season began broadcasting in April 2024, and upon its final episode airing, the production of a fourth season was announced. A second movie, Soukai no Namida Hen, is also scheduled for release in 2026.
