Gotoubun no Princess ~Gensou to Shin’en to Mahou Gakuin~ Reveals Opening Movie! Featuring the Quintuplets’ Magical Academy Life
The opening movie for the fourth console game based on the TV anime Gotoubun no Hanayome, titled Gotoubun no Princess ~Gensou to Shin’en to Mahou Gakuin~ (affectionately known as Gotopuri), has been released.

Gotoubun no Hanayome is a popular series based on Haruba Negi’s romantic comedy manga, which was serialized in “Weekly Shounen Magazine”. The story follows Uesugi Fuutarou, a second-year high school student who becomes the private tutor for the Nakano family’s quintuplet sisters. The TV anime adaptation began airing in 2019, and its popularity led to the production of a movie and TV specials.
The game Gotoubun no Princess ~Gensou to Shin’en to Mahou Gakuin~ is slated for release on September 18th. Set in a magical academy, this RPG depicts the fateful encounter between the Nakano quintuplets and Uesugi Fuutarou. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 (digital only for PS4).

Catch the Magical Opening Movie!
Fans can now get a taste of the game’s atmosphere with the newly released opening movie. Set to the theme song “Ashita e” (Towards Tomorrow) sung by the Nakano quintuplets themselves, the video showcases the sisters in their magical world, full of vibrant energy.
The animation production for the opening movie was handled by Seven Arcs. The theme song’s lyrics were penned by Yuuki Aira, who has previously contributed many beloved songs to the Gotoubun no Hanayome series.
Magical Academy Uniform Designs by Haruba Negi
Adding a touch of authenticity from the original creator, designs for the magical academy uniforms by author Haruba Negi have also been unveiled. While based on a standard academy uniform, each of the quintuplets’ outfits is uniquely arranged to reflect their individual personalities.
Great care was taken in designing the uniforms, incorporating elements like colors inspired by magic, detailed cape linings, and delicate ribbons and frills. The designs revealed are for the summer uniforms, but winter uniform designs also exist.

Special Limited Edition Bonuses
The limited edition of the game comes bundled with a Blu-ray packed with exclusive content. This includes an original anime short running approximately 10 minutes, as well as a visual drama depicting a pajama party featuring the quintuplets and Fuutarou.
The visual drama offers a fully voiced conversational play experience lasting about 45 minutes, accompanied by illustrations styled like game visuals. It’s a perfect treat for fans looking for more interactions with their favorite characters.
