WIND BREAKER is a TV anime based on the yankee manga by Niisato ru, serialized on Kodansha’s “Magazine Pocket” official app.
Furin High School is notorious as a super delinquent school with the lowest academic scores but the strongest fighters. Sakura Haruka, a first-year high school student, arrives in town aiming for the top of this school. He discovers that the school has become a group dedicated to protecting the town, named “Boufuurin,” and the story depicts his journey fighting as a member to protect the streets.

The TV anime is produced by CloverWorks under the direction of Akai Toshifumi. It aired from April to June 2024 as part of the “Supaa Animeizumu TURBO” programming block. WIND BREAKER Season 2 began broadcasting late at night on April 3, 2025.

Birthday illustrations of eight characters are making their appearance as merchandise: Sakura Haruka, Nirei Akihiko, Sugishita Kyoutarou, Suou Hayato, Kiryuu Mitsuki, Tsugura Taiga, Kaji Ren, Umemiya Hajime, Hiiragi Touma, and Tsubakino Yuu.

These birthday illustrations were successively released on social media over the course of a year, starting with Sakura Haruka on April 1, 2024, and concluding with Suou Hayato on March 28, 2025. The artwork was created by animator Takasema ru.

Two types of items are being released: “Panel Stand mini,” which measure W74×H105mm, and “Trading Hologram Can Badges,” featuring a sparkly hologram finish.

Given that these goods use the birthday illustrations, they truly capture the characters’ brightest smiles and a vibrant, celebratory feel.

You can expect these items to be available at anime goods specialty stores and online retailers starting around mid-October.
