Get ready, isekai fantasy fans! The official website for the upcoming television anime adaptation of the light novel series Chichi wa Eiyuu Haha wa Seirei Musume no Watashi wa Tenseisha has just dropped some exciting new information. Alongside revealing additional staff members who will be bringing this world to life, a teaser promotional video (which we won’t be sharing here, but you can find it on the official site!) was also released. Mark your calendars, because this new adventure is set to premiere in October 2025 on Tokyo MX, making it a highlight of the Fall 2025 anime season.
The production is being handled by studio **JCStaff**, known for various popular series. Directing the anime is Fukushima Toshinori, who previously directed **Skate-Leading☆Stars**. The series composition, which shapes the overall story structure, is being managed by Machida Touko, recognized for her work on shows like **Hitsugi no Chaika**. Designing the characters for the animation is Oosawa Mina, who also worked on **The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki – Northern War**.

The Story’s Origins
The anime is based on the isekai fantasy light novel series penned by Matsuura. The story initially began its life as a web novel posted on the popular Shousetsuka ni Narou website, running from September 2016 until November 2020. Kadokawa later picked up the series for print publication under their Kadokawa Books label, starting in March 2018. The light novels feature illustrations by keepout. The most recent volume mentioned, the ninth one, was released back in October 2022.
Manga Adaptation Also Available
Fans interested in the series also have a manga adaptation to check out. Oohori Yutaka started drawing the manga version in Big Gagan magazine in September 2018. Square Enix publishes the manga volumes, with the 12th volume having been released on March 25.
For readers outside of Japan, the manga is available digitally in English. Square Enix offers it through their Manga UP! platform, and it’s also been available via Comikey since November 13, 2023. The English digital release is titled Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits.
