Based on the popular game series, the Utano☆Purinsu-sama♪ Maji LOVE series has grown significantly since its first TV anime in 2011, spanning four seasons and two previous theatrical films released starting in 2019. This newest movie, Gekijouban Utano☆Purinsu-sama♪ TABOO NIGHT XXXX, focuses on the four members of the idol group QUARTET NIGHT: Kotobuki Reiji, Kurosaki Ranmaru, Mikaze Ai, and Camyu, depicting their “new destination (utopia).” Following the success of Maji LOVE Kingdom and St☆rish Tours, this film is also a full-length live animation production with a completely original story, enchanting audiences in 135 theaters nationwide since its premiere on May 9.
