From the summer anime “Food Court de, Mata Ashita.,” the synopsis and advance scene cuts for the first episode (#1), titled “‘WADA1234’ ‘Nazca Chijou-e Uchuu-jin’ ‘psibola’ ‘Change before you have to’”, which begins airing on July 7th (Monday), have been released. Furthermore, the non-credit ending footage has been unveiled, and some of the special thanks companies have also been revealed.
“Food Court de, Mata Ashita.” is a TV anime based on the manga by Narie Shinichiro, serialized on “Comic Newtype,” which became a hot topic on social media as a story about “just two high school girls chatting.” Koga Kazuomi, known for “Kanojo, Okarishimasu,” serves as the director, and Atelier Pontdarc, the animation studio behind “Isekai Ojisan,” is handling the production. Miyazaki Hiyori voices Wada, and Aoyama Yoshino voices Yamamoto. Other cast members include Hayami Saori and Fukuyama Jun.
Wada, who gives off an unapproachable aura, and Yamamoto, who is feared by those around her due to her gyaru-like appearance, are both high school students who spend time alone in their respective classes. Although they attend different schools, they gather almost every day at the food court in a shopping center. However, they don’t really do anything specific; they just chat about trivial things. So, what kind of relaxed after-school time do these two share?
First Episode (#1) “‘WADA1234’ ‘Nazca Chijou-e Uchuu-jin’ ‘psibola’ ‘Change before you have to’” Synopsis
After school, Wada and Yamamoto get off at the usual station and gather at the food court. Wada, who had been criticizing the social game character Duke Abel on social media, saying, “I can’t forgive that guy!”, apparently had her account bombarded by fans who saw her post.
But now, time has passed, and the fans who attacked Wada online are reportedly flaming a different topic. When Wada complains to Yamamoto about being bashed online… what happens?
Also, ahead of the broadcast, the non-credit ending footage was unveiled. Starting with a conversational skit between Wada and Yamamoto (CV. Miyazaki Hiyori and Aoyama Yoshino), you can get an early look at the soft visuals woven together with the song and the characters. Furthermore, this work is scheduled to feature real companies in the main story, and some of the special thanks companies have been revealed. Look forward to seeing when they appear!
