From the Summer 2025 anime ‘Nyaito obu za Ribingu Kyatto’, the synopsis and preview cuts for the first episode (Chapter 1) “Subete ga Neko ni Naru” (Everything Turns into a Cat), which begins broadcasting on July 7, 2025 (Monday), have been unveiled. Furthermore, a part of the mid-episode footage has also been pre-released, revealing that guest characters will be voiced by Kobayashi Chikahiro, Inoue Kazuhiko, Matsuda Kenichirou, and others.

‘Nyaito obu za Ribingu Kyatto’ is a shocking “survival cat comedy” based on the manga by Hawkman (original story) and Mechalootz (artwork), serialized in “Monthly Comic Garden” and the web manga site “Mag Comi”. In 20XX, a virus that turns humans who touch cats into cats causes a “Nyandemic” worldwide. People are cuddled by cats and successively turn into felines. Can humanity resist the temptation to touch cats and survive in a world full of cats?

For the TV anime, film director Miike Takashi, known as a master of violence for works like ‘Kuroozu Zero’ and ‘Aku no Kyouten’, serves as General Director. Animation production is handled by OLM, known for ‘Poketto Monsutaa’ and ‘Samaataimu Renda’. Kamiya Tomohiro, who directed ‘MIX MEISEI STORY ~Nidome no Natsu, Sora no Mukou e~’, is the Director. The cast includes Mizunaka Masaaki as the protagonist Kunagi, along with Ueda Reina, Kawashima Reiji, Serizawa Yuu, Kimura Subaru, Nakajima Yoshiki, Yasumoto Hiroki, Takeuchi Ryouta, and others.

Episode 1 (Chapter 1) “Subete ga Neko ni Naru” Synopsis

Kunagi, a man with amnesia and a love for cats, is found collapsed and is taken in by Gaku (also a cat lover) and Kaoru (likewise a cat lover). He starts working at the cat cafe “Megokoro Nekome” run by the siblings.

Then, one day, a regular customer at the cat cafe suddenly turns into a cute cat. The “Nyandemic,” where touching cats turns humans into cats, occurs simultaneously worldwide, throwing the city into chaos.

Also, following the previously released opening footage for Episode 1 (Chapter 1), a portion of the mid-episode footage has now also been pre-released from this work. This section depicts a meeting at the “Chouzetsu Kawaii Neko Tokusetsu Saigai Taisaku Honbu” (Super Extremely Cute Cat Special Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters), where cat lovers gather to discuss countermeasures for the global “Nyandemic,” including the Nyai kaku Souri Daijin (Cabinet Prime Minister) Shigetaka=Grent. Facing off against adorable cats, can they really figure out a way for humanity to survive?

Furthermore, the cast for guest characters appearing in the early episodes has been revealed. Inoue Kazuhiko will voice the Nyai kaku Souri Daijin (Cabinet Prime Minister) Shigetaka=Grent, seen in the newly released footage. Kobayashi Chikahiro will play Youji=Adaman, a freelance journalist, and Matsuda Kenichirou will portray Jin Ee Maarou, a man traveling alone in the world of the “Nyandemic.”

The first episode (Chapter 1) “Subete ga Neko ni Naru” of the Summer anime ‘Nyaito obu za Ribingu Kyatto’ will begin broadcasting sequentially from July 7 (Monday) at 26:00 on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, Animax, and other channels.
