Summer Anime “Dandadan”: Is It Hopeless?… Just Then, Jashi (CV: Tamura Mutsumi) Appears – Episode 14 Preview Images
For the second season of the Summer anime Dandadan, the synopsis and preview images for Episode 14, titled “Jashi,” which begins airing on Thursday, July 10, 2025, have been revealed.
Dandadan is an occult battle and youth story based on the manga by Ryuu Yukinobu, serialized on Shueisha’s manga app “Shonen Jump+” with over 10 million copies in circulation. It follows Momo, a high school girl born into a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult mania. After encountering overwhelming and incomprehensible paranormal events, they gain hidden and cursed powers, challenging the encroaching strange phenomena while also getting caught up in a fated romance.
The TV anime, starring Wakayama Shion as Momo (Ayase Momo) and Hanae Natsuki as Okarun (Takakura Ken), gained popularity when its first season aired from October to December 2024. For the second season, Yamashiro Fuuga directs alongside Abel Gongora, with animation production continuing to be handled by Science SARU.
Episode 14: “Jashi” Synopsis
It’s revealed that the Kitou family has been offering sacrifices to Daija-sama, also known as the Mongolian Death Worm, for 200 years, and Jiji’s house was built right on top of the altar!
Jiji (Enjouji Jin) desperately tries to stop Momo and Okarun, who are being manipulated by Nenpa (thought waves) and are about to commit suicide. He grabs both of them, attempting to escape, but the Mongolian Death Worm closes in right before their eyes.
Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Jashi makes his appearance.
Dandadan Season 2 Episode 14, titled “Jashi,” will air starting July 10, 2025 (Thursday) at 0:26 AM JST on the MBS/TBS network across 28 stations nationwide as part of the “Super Animeism TURBO” programming block.
