From the Summer 2025 anime Kanojo, Okarishimasu Season 4, the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 2 (Satisfaction 38) titled “Tameiki to Kanojo – Tamekano -“, scheduled to broadcast from July 11th, 2025 (Friday), have been released.
Kanojo, Okarishimasu is a romantic comedy based on the manga serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shounen Magazine” by Miyajima Reiji. It depicts how the life of the hopeless college student Kinoshita Kazuya takes a dramatic turn after he introduces the pure and lovely “rental” girlfriend (Renkano), Mizuhara Chizuru, to his family and friends as his “real” girlfriend.
The TV anime first aired its Season 1 in July 2020, quickly becoming a hot topic due to the cuteness of its heroines. Season 2 followed in July 2022, and Season 3 in July 2023, broadcasting and streaming to a wide audience. The official TV anime X (formerly Twitter) account boasts over 350,000 followers, and the original manga’s worldwide cumulative circulation has surpassed 13.5 million copies, showcasing its immense popularity.
Season 4, which will be broadcast in two split cours, sees Kazuya, who successfully completed the film production crowdfunding, finally resolving his “resolve” towards Chizuru. Meanwhile, Sarashina Ruka, his girlfriend (tentative) with a somewhat forceful side, approaches Kazuya more assertively than ever before. Furthermore, a tense situation arises as the somewhat devilish ex-girlfriend Nanami Mami, who knows Kazuya and Chizuru’s “real” relationship, rapidly approaches Chizuru. The story heats up even more, drawing in those around them, and the setting shifts to “Hawaiians.”

On the way home from the cafe, Kazuya, steeling his resolve, invites Chizuru out for lunch. After a moment of thought, Chizuru accepts the invitation.
As finding a restaurant proves difficult, Chizuru suggests a family restaurant.
Drinking wine and in her cheerful, off-duty mode, Chizuru breaks into a full smile. Kazuya’s heart won’t stop pounding at the sight of her radiant smile.
However, Chizuru suddenly looks at Kazuya with a serious gaze and poses a question: “You… do you… like me?”
