Good news for fans of cozy (and maybe a little chaotic) manga cafe life! It’s just been officially revealed that Kumako Hisama’s delightful manga series, **Ichijouma Mankitsugurashi!**, is getting a TV anime adaptation. Entertainment company Bushiroad shared the exciting news, and the August issue of Manga Time Kirara magazine also featured the big announcement right on its cover!
About the Manga
**Ichijouma Mankitsugurashi!** is a comedy ecchi manga that first appeared as a guest series in Manga Time Kirara back in May 2018. It proved popular enough to kick off regular serialization in the same magazine later that year, in December. Houbunsha has been publishing the collected volumes, with the third volume hitting shelves in September 2022 and the fourth volume released on July 26th.
What’s It All About? (Synopsis)
The story follows Meiko, a girl from the countryside who gets into a fancy all-girls school. There’s a catch though: she has to join a volunteer program. But this isn’t your average school service! Instead, she finds herself living and working at a manga cafe.
Surprisingly, living in a tiny, cramped booth isn’t the worst thing ever. Especially when the staff is full of super cute high school girls! It might even turn out to be a whole lot of fun! Get ready to dive into the unique charm of a manga cafe filled with high school life!
