Summer Anime “Bad Girl” Episode 2 ( #02 ) Synopsis & Preview Cut Release! Yui Horie Appears!
Ahead of its broadcast start on July 12, 2025 (Saturday), the synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 2 (#02) of the summer anime **Bad Girl** have been released. The episode titles are 「『ナチュラル・ボーン・エロリスト』『秘密のクラブ』『教えてください』『るらちゃんはチヤホヤされたい』」 (which can be translated as “Natural-Born Erologist,” “Secret Club,” “Please Teach Me,” “Rurachan Wants to Be Doted Upon”). Furthermore, it’s been revealed that the character Komari Maria, voiced by Horie Yui, will appear in Episode 2.
About the Series
Bad Girl is based on the four-panel manga by Nikumaru, serialized in Houbunsha’s “Manga Time Kirara Carat” since 2021. This school comedy follows the protagonist, Yuutani Yuu, who is widely regarded as an honor student. To attract the attention of Mizutori Atori, the school’s Madonna and disciplinary committee chair, Yuu decides to shed her “good kid” image and strive to become a “bad delinquent.”
The anime adaptation is directed by Furuta Jooji, known for SHAMAN KING FLOWERS and The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments. Animation production is handled by Bridge, the studio behind SHAMAN KING FLOWERS and Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!. The voice cast features Tachibana Asahi as Yuutani Yuu, Hanamiya Hina as Mizutori Atori, Matsuoka Misato as Suzukaze Ryo, Hanai Miharu as Ruriba Rura, Lynn as Kiyoki Kiyoshi, Maeda Kaori as Mizutori Mizuka, and Horie Yui as Komari Maria.
Episode 2 (#02) Synopsis
Yuutani Yuu, hoping to impress Atori, participates in the student council’s kindergarten visit event. She plots to assert herself as an “evil charismatic figure” by making all the children obey her, but she finds herself completely overwhelmed by the children’s free-spirited nature.
Feeling flattered by Atori’s concern, Yuu’s joy is short-lived when Komari Maria, a member of the “ADC (Atori-sama Daisuki Club)” considers her a threat and challenges her to a game of hide-and-seek.
As mentioned earlier, this second episode introduces the character Komari Maria, voiced by Horie Yui. From the look of things, she seems to be having some sort of conflict with Yuu. It will be essential viewing to see how she gets involved in the story!
