Chatora, the character I’m playing this time, doesn’t speak at all, but they get involved in all sorts of activities! Plus, all of us cast members are playing various roles beyond just the cats themselves! While you’ll definitely be charmed by the unique cuteness of the cats, please also pay close attention to who’s playing which character!

That day I received an audition script that was so incredibly unique, consisting solely of cat meows! I wondered, “Is this really all there is?” and enthusiastically ‘meow-meowed’ my way through it, so I was beyond thrilled when I heard I was chosen for the role of Shironeko. As someone who lives with three cats, this project is truly a reward for me… Everyone, let’s enjoy these classic folk tales and cats together!

This anime is, simply put, adorable because of its ‘cats’! If you’re a cat owner, you’ll totally get it! And even if you don’t own a cat, you’ll feel as comforted and healed as if you did! The ‘cat effect’ makes our recording sessions incredibly peaceful and enjoyable.
