About Pekepke! Pekettsu-kun
Pekepke! Pekettsu-kun is a lively, chaotic anime that follows the adventures of Pekettsu, a silly alien from Pekepke-boshi, Nikaidou Rui, a brilliant middle school student, and Gouonji Hayato, who is simply obsessed with being popular. Due to the superhumanly convenient items Pekettsu possesses, Rui often finds himself caught up in all sorts of incidents. And if that wasn’t enough, Hayato’s attempts to misuse these items frequently escalate the situations into even bigger comedic messes. The series has garnered significant popularity, especially among elementary school students, with it being said that one out of every three elementary schoolers now watches the show!
