Get ready, *Kimetsu no Yaiba* fans! Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, is gearing up for an exciting collaboration with the hit anime *Kimetsu no Yaiba*. From September 5th to November 9th, 2025, prepare to dive deep into the world of the Demon Slayer Corps with the event titled “Sunshine City x Anime *Kimetsu no Yaiba* Zen Shuu Chuu! Taiyou no Toshidensetsu Dai Sanshou” (Full Concentration! Urban Legend of the Sun Chapter 3). Details about this thrilling third chapter of the collaboration have just been unveiled!
The anime *Kimetsu no Yaiba* and Sunshine City (Ikebukuro, Tokyo) are collaborating for an event titled “Sunshine City x Anime *Kimetsu no Yaiba* Zen Shuu Chuu! Taiyou no Toshidensetsu Dai Sanshou,” which will be held from September 5th to November 9th, 2025. This time, its details have been released.
About *Kimetsu no Yaiba*
*Kimetsu no Yaiba* is based on the manga serialized in “Shuukan Shounen Jump” by Gotouge Koyoharu. It tells the story of Kamado Tanjirou, a young boy whose family was murdered by demons, and his sister, Nezuko, who was turned into one. To restore Nezuko to human form, Tanjirou joins the Kisatsutai (Demon Slayer Corps) and throws himself into battle against demons. The TV anime began airing in April 2019. On July 18th, the movie *Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai* (The Movie *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba* Mugen Castle Arc: Chapter 1 – Akaza’s Return) was released, depicting the final battle between the Kisatsutai and the demons, set in the demon stronghold, Mugen Castle.
A Third Collaboration Full of Surprises
This collaboration between Sunshine City and *Kimetsu no Yaiba*, which began in 2020, is now in its third installment. To commemorate the release of *Gekijouban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Dai Isshou Akaza Sairai* on July 18th, new original illustrations of five characters will be featured, in addition to those from previous collaboration events.
Five characters, including Tomioka Giyuu, the powerful Shinazugawa Sanemi, Tokitou Muichirou, Iguro Obanai, and Uzui Tengen, will appear in special forms exclusive to Sunshine City.
Exciting Activities at Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbou Park
Additionally, an exclusive stamp rally and original photo spots will be available only at Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbou Park. At the original photo spots and exhibits, characters from the newly drawn illustrations will welcome visitors. You can enjoy taking photos with Tanjirou and his companions, along with a breathtaking view from 251 meters above sea level.
The stamp rally involves collecting character stamps throughout the facility, and participants will receive a clear card set (two cards) as a special gift. The designs of the stamps and clear cards will change for the first and second rounds. Those who complete both stamp rallies will receive a hard card case to hold their clear cards as a completion novelty.
Uncover Secrets at Sunshine Aquarium’s Keyword Rally
Furthermore, for the first time in this collaboration, a keyword rally will be held at the Sunshine Aquarium. Collect keywords scattered throughout the aquarium to receive a clear card set (two cards). The keywords and clear card designs will change for the first and second rounds. Those who complete both keyword rallies will receive a hard card case to hold their clear cards as a completion novelty.
Exclusive Merchandise and Restaurant Fair
Don’t miss out on the collaboration’s original goods, featuring the exclusive new illustrations! Among the merchandise are unique name badges, designed to resemble those worn by staff at the observatory and aquarium. You’ll also find ticket-style cards inspired by the entry tickets to Tenbou Park and Sunshine Aquarium. What’s more, customers will receive novelty gifts based on their total purchase amount, so keep an eye out for those special bonuses!
The Specialty Store Arpa and Sky Restaurant areas will host a delightful restaurant fair where you can receive a bromide with your meal.
