This special event promises to immerse visitors in the eerie yet poignant world of the series, featuring exclusive merchandise, themed menu items, and exciting in-store activities.
About Hikari ga Shinda Natsu
Hikari ga Shinda Natsu, which can be translated as “The Summer the Light Died,” is a compelling youth horror series based on the popular manga by Mokumokuren, serialized on “Young Ace UP.” The story follows Tsujinaka Yoshiki, an ordinary high school boy, as he navigates life alongside Hikaru—a mysterious entity who eerily mimics his childhood companion, Kido Hikaru. Their days are filled with bizarre and unsettling incidents, drawing both Yoshiki and the audience deeper into a world where the familiar turns sinister. The original manga has garnered significant acclaim, even ranking first in the Male Readers’ category of “Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023.”
Creative Team and Voice Cast
The animated adaptation of Hikari ga Shinda Natsu boasts a talented team bringing this atmospheric story to life. Takeshita Ryohei, known for his work on Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai, helms the project as director and series composer.
