How to Fully Enjoy Tokyo Disneyland with a “Night Plan”? From Baymax’s Collaboration with Mrs. GREEN APPLE to Dazzling Parades and Castle Shows
Tokyo Disney Resort is currently offering the “Early Evening Passport” for entry after 3 PM on holidays and the “Weekday Night Passport” for entry after 5 PM on weekdays, both available daily until September 15th. We recently visited Tokyo Disneyland during these cooler evening hours, a welcome escape from the midday heat!
A Glimpse of the Magic: Tokyo Disneyland at Night
Here are some visual highlights from our enchanted evening at Tokyo Disneyland, capturing the vibrant atmosphere, thrilling attractions, and captivating shows.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s Limited-Time Song Every Evening!
Tokyo Disneyland’s popular attraction, “Baymax’s Happy Ride,” has transformed into a special version until September 15, 2025. In addition to the six original songs usually played, a limited-time theme song, “Carrying Happiness,” by the nationally popular band, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, has been added and is currently garnering immense popularity. While “Carrying Happiness” plays randomly during the day and guests cannot choose the song during their ride experience, after 7 PM daily, only “Carrying Happiness” will be played. This is a unique and delightful experience exclusive to the evening hours.
Experience the Dreamy Castle Show, Unique to the Evening!
And around 7 PM (please check the monthly schedule), the breathtaking castle show, “Reach for the Stars,” is also being performed. This spectacular entertainment, which premiered on September 20th last year and is now celebrating its first anniversary, is a castle projection show set against Cinderella Castle, depicting various characters soaring through the sky in pursuit of their dreams. Alongside classic Disney songs, vibrant projections on Cinderella Castle and dazzling pyrotechnics spread across the night sky, creating a magnificent spectacle of light. Guests can experience a grand sense of immersion and dynamism, as if soaring through the sky with their beloved characters. The show runs for approximately 20 minutes.
A Luxurious, Beautiful, Dream-Filled Night Parade!
To cap off your day, around 8 PM (please check the monthly schedule), be sure to witness the iconic “Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights.” This magnificent 45-minute parade beautifully illuminates the night at TDL with a dazzling display of lights and enchanting Disney music, where beloved Disney stars shine amidst a sea of light and sound, creating a truly dream-filled experience. With colorful floats featuring characters from films like Aladdin and the Toy Story series, this parade fantastically adorns the park’s night, promising to make your day’s memories truly unforgettable!
Take a Break with a Cool and Sweet “Frozen Crepe”!
As a recommended summer treat, we sampled the “Frozen Crepe (Strawberry & Pistachio Whip)” for 650 yen. According to Yokoyama Arisa-san from Oriental Land Co., Ltd.’s Food Sales Department, key development points included, “Not only have we devised a shape that looks appealing, but we’ve also engineered it so that even when eaten frozen, where sweetness is typically harder to perceive, it still delivers a delightful sweetness.” You can find it at various locations including The Gazebo (Adventureland), Cowboy Cookhouse (Westernland), and Village Pastry (Fantasyland). It’s available until September 15, 2025, so be sure to check it out!
Did You Know? Summer Events Are Still Happening!
Tokyo Disneyland is still hosting the special event “Summer Cool Off at Tokyo Disney Resort,” where you can enjoy a refreshing summer experience! In addition to “Baymax’s Mission Cool Down,” a soaked program featuring Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s music, “Splash Mountain” has also powered up this year as “Splash Mountain “More! Soaking MAX”,” delivering an even more exhilarating and refreshing ride than last year!
Furthermore, in the popular Toontown area for kids, guests can get wonderfully drenched at “‘Soaking’ Toontown,” with cool mist and waterfall-like sprays erupting from the Jolly Trolley’s garage! Soaking spots, where water bursts from the Toontown Fire Department and Fireworks Factory, are also set up this year, allowing you to fully enjoy getting soaking wet – a perfect way to beat the summer heat!
Country Bear Theater Presents Its Special Summer Version Until October!
At Tokyo Disneyland’s “Country Bear Theater” attraction, the special summer version, “Country Bear Theater ‘Vacation Jamboree’,” is being presented again this year until October 31st. A concert starring 18 unique bears performing country and western music with abundant humor is currently underway, inviting you to enjoy a cheerful vacation alongside these distinctive and entertaining bears.
We actually entered Tokyo Disneyland at 3 PM and enjoyed watching the “Vacation Jamboree,” taking our time to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Be sure to also check out the summer-exclusive decorations within the attraction!
Straight into Halloween! Tokyo Disneyland’s Fun Continues Through Autumn
Tokyo Disneyland will host the special event “Disney Halloween” from September 17th to October 31st!
This year, Disney Villains will once again take center stage as the parade “The Villains’ Halloween ‘Into the Frenzy’,” themed around “a spooky yet incredibly exciting Halloween party hosted by the Villains,” makes its grand return! The fireworks, which take a break during the summer, will also return for Halloween with “Night High Halloween,” coloring the park’s night sky vibrantly to Halloween music! Let’s continue to enjoy the park’s endless fun throughout autumn!
