Calling All Anime & Game Fans: Who’s Your Favorite Teacher Character?

October 5th marks “Teacher’s Day,” a special commemoration inspired by World Teachers’ Day, a global observance established by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). Just as in real life, teacher characters hold a special place and enjoy immense popularity across the vibrant worlds of anime and games. From the passionate, hot-blooded sensei who earnestly faces every student, to the incredibly strict yet secretly caring Spartan type, and even the “anti-teacher” who ironically teaches valuable lessons through their very lack of respect – the personalities are incredibly diverse and captivating!

Following up on last year’s overwhelming response, Anime! Anime! is excited to launch another reader survey, posing the question: **”Who comes to mind when you think of ‘teacher’ characters?”** We want to hear from you! Please respond in a free-form format, letting us know which unforgettable characters and their respective works left an impression on you.

The deadline for submissions is October 1st. We’ll be compiling and publishing the results as soon as they’re ready, so look forward to seeing the rankings!
