The Hero’s Unexpected Love Confession

From the very beginning, the three heroines who are companions in Toto’s party were secretly plotting to end his life. However, as their adventures together unfolded, they gradually began to develop feelings for him. Goa, too, had previously tried to gauge his affections, asking him, “Do you like me?”

Despite her growing feelings, Goa’s original ambition to control Toto remained. She trapped everyone in a dream world, but in the twelfth and final episode, “Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime,” Toto and his companions successfully managed to escape.

Upon Toto’s awakening, Goa was left stunned. Perhaps imagining that she would once again be disliked by someone important to her, she remembered a past where her own skills caused a friend to reject her, and tears streamed down her face. Yet, Toto didn’t blame Goa at all. Instead, he courageously poured out his heart, exclaiming, “I love you! Always have, always will!” Goa blushed deeply at his words, but Toto himself became so utterly embarrassed that his face turned bright red, and he promptly fainted, true to his nature!
