About Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai
Often affectionately abbreviated as “Imouza,” Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai is a light novel series penned by `Mikawaghost` and published under `GA Bunko`. It has also garnered a popular manga adaptation. This series is a delightful, “agonizingly charming and irritating youth romantic comedy” (or icha-uza seishun love-come) where uza-kawa girls—annoyingly cute, that is—constantly find their way into the protagonist’s life, even when he hasn’t asked them to!
The TV anime adaptation is brought to life by animation studio `BLADE`, under the skilled direction of `Koga Kazuomi`. Fans of the series will be thrilled to know that the cast from the drama CD will be reprising their roles. This includes `Ishitani Haruki` as `Oohoshi Akiteru`, `Suzushiro Sayumi` as `Kohinata Iroha`, `Kusunoki Tomori` as `Tsukinonori Mashiro`, `Saitou Souma` as `Kohinata Otsuma`, and `Hanazawa Kana` as `Kageishi Sumire`.
Story Synopsis
The story follows high school student `Oohoshi Akiteru`, a self-proclaimed pragmatist who dismisses all romantic relationships and youthful camaraderie as inefficient. Despite his stance, his best friend’s younger sister, `Kohinata Iroha`, somehow always finds herself at his house, making herself comfortable. While `Iroha` is immensely popular at school as a pure and elegant honor student, she acts incredibly annoying and teasingly suggestive only around `Akiteru`. One day, as `Akiteru` navigates his chaotic daily life with the high-energy, annoyingly cute `Iroha`, a cool and aloof girl named `Tsukinonori Mashiro` appears. Her arrival sets off a dramatic shift in the everyday lives of `Akiteru`, `Iroha`, and their companions.
Episode 1 “Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai” Synopsis
High school student `Oohoshi Akiteru` is a super-efficiency fanatic whose room, for some reason, is constantly occupied by his friend’s younger sister, `Kohinata Iroha`.
`Iroha` is a beautiful, clearheaded honor student at school, but only to `Akiteru` does she relentlessly act irritatingly clingy.
As `Akiteru` endures his irritating yet lively days with her, his cousin, `Tsukinonori Mashiro`, suddenly makes an appearance. What changes will she bring to their already unusual dynamic?
