Unlock Your Ego with Blue Lock Omamori and Goshuin! Now Available in Kansai
Get ready, Blue Lock fans! The highly anticipated omamori (lucky charms), goshuin (temple stamps), and goshuincho (goshuin books) for the TV anime Blue Lock are back this year. And for the first time, these coveted items will be distributed (sold) in the Kansai region at three iconic temples: Hieizan Enryakuji, Kaikousan Saihouji, and Ryuuchizan Matsuo Kannonji!
What is Blue Lock?
For those unfamiliar, Blue Lock is an electrifying soccer manga serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shounen Magazine,” penned by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yuusuke. The story thrusts us into the “Blue Lock (Blue Prison)” project, a radical training program designed to forge the world’s greatest striker, a player who will lead Japan to a World Cup victory. Here, 300 high school students, including protagonist Isagi Yoichi, are invited to a ruthless survival game where they must sometimes crush rivals and sometimes evolve themselves to overcome intense challenges.
This gripping series has taken the world by storm, boasting over 50 million copies in circulation globally and even earning the “Shounen Category Award” at the 45th Kodansha Manga Award. The excitement continues to build with the official flagship exhibition, “Blue Lock Exhibition EGOIST EXHIBITION the animation,” which kicked off in April 2025 and is set to tour eight cities across Japan, including Tokyo and Osaka, bringing the egoistic world of Blue Lock closer to fans nationwide.
Kansai Region Joins the Hunt for Ego!
Last year, the Blue Lock *omamori*, *goshuin*, and *goshuincho* were distributed at shrines in Tokyo (Ouji Jinja, Maeno Kumano Jinja, Aoyama Kumano Jinja) to immense popularity. This year, fans in the Kansai region can rejoice as these highly anticipated items make their debut at three revered temples: Hieizan Enryakuji, Kaikousan Saihouji, and Ryuuchizan Matsuo Kannonji.
Just like before, three types of sacred items will be available: *omamori*, *goshuin*, and *goshuincho*. If you can’t make it to the temples, don’t worry! These items will also be sold online via the Fuuu online shop.
The distribution begins on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Please note that the distribution location may vary depending on the character featured, so be sure to check the details below or the official website!
