Experience the Madness: Yunyun Dempa Syndrome Demo Now Available!

Get ready to immerse yourself in the chaotic yet captivating world of Yunyun Dempa Syndrome! Alliance Arts has just launched a limited-time demo for their PC (Steam) rhythm adventure game on October 10, 2025. This unique title, where players spread `kai-bunsho` (strange documents) to the world through high-energy `denpa songs`, is also slated to make an appearance at the “Steam Next Fest” starting October 14.

Yunyun Dempa Syndrome

What is Yunyun Dempa Syndrome?

Yunyun Dempa Syndrome is a rhythm adventure game that combines “music game” elements with “strange documents.” The game centers around a `hikikomori` (shut-in) girl who, using `denpa songs` (a genre of quirky, high-energy, often nonsensical songs), posts bizarre writings to the internet, driving the world into a state of “yunyun” — a charmingly deranged frenzy.

Our protagonist, the `hikikomori` girl Q-chan, has had her mind twisted by the harsh realities of life. A devoted fan of the `ni-jigen` (2D anime) world, she rides the waves of `denpa songs` to unleash her strange documents and dismantle the world as she knows it.

Unraveling the Mystery and Music

The game invites players to uncover the answers to perplexing “Q”s: “Q. Why did the girl become a `hikikomori`?”, “Q. How do these strange documents drive the world insane?”, and “Q. Can a ‘loser `otaku`’ protagonist ever find a happy ending?”. You’ll delve into a world filled with rampant `denpa` waves and the ultimate depths of madness to find your answers. With over 30 exhilarating `denpa songs` and multiple endings, players are guaranteed a heart-pounding experience brimming with excitement and a touch of ecstasy.

A Riotous Collection of Denpa Songs

The soundtrack of Yunyun Dempa Syndrome is exclusively composed of `denpa songs`. The game proudly features a multitude of popular tracks, including classics such as “Sakuranbo Kiss ~Bakuhatsu da mo~n~“, “Miko Miko Nurse ~Ai no Theme~“, and “Kanbu de Tomatte Sugu Tokeru ~Kyouki no Udongein~“. Prepare for an auditory journey through the wonderfully bizarre!

Meet the Voices Behind the Madness

The captivating characters of Yunyun Dempa Syndrome are brought to life by a talented voice cast.

Dive into the Demo Now!

The newly released demo offers players a taste of the game’s opening, including about 30 minutes of rhythm game and adventure part loops. While the main scenario doesn’t progress in the demo, you can continue playing within the demo’s scope even after clearing the initial content.

It’s important to note that while the full game will feature Japanese full voice acting for Q-chan (CV. Nanahira) and Yunyun (CV. Momoi Haruko), the demo currently has some voices unrecorded. Even so, the demo includes over 10 songs, including some hidden tracks, for you to enjoy. This limited-time demo is available until October 31, so seize this opportunity to experience a slice of the “yunyun `denpa`” for yourself!

Yunyun Dempa Syndrome karaoke-style preview video

Additionally, Alliance Arts’ official YouTube channel has been releasing karaoke-style preview videos of the game’s songs daily at 9 PM JST since October 10. The inaugural video featured a famous song known for its “Kishimen” theme. Be sure to check them out alongside the demo for maximum enjoyment!

Alliance Arts’ PC (Steam) rhythm adventure game, Yunyun Dempa Syndrome, where players send out strange documents to the world with `denpa songs`, is scheduled for release this winter. The limited-time demo is available now until October 31!
