Autumn Anime ImoUza: What Happens When Akiteru (CV: Ishiya Haruki) Is Summoned by the “Poisonous Queen” Kageishi Sumire (CV: Hanazawa Kana)? Episode 2 Pre-cut Scenes Revealed!
From the autumn anime series Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai, the synopsis and exciting pre-cut scenes for the upcoming second episode, titled “His Long-Lost Cousin Is Only Cold Towards Him,” have been unveiled. This highly anticipated episode is set to broadcast starting Saturday, October 11, 2025.
ImoUza, or Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai, is based on the light novel series by Mikawa Ghost, published under GA Bunko, which also boasts a popular manga adaptation. This “agony-inducing, flirtatious, and annoying youth romantic comedy” revolves around a charmingly bothersome girl who constantly gravitates towards our protagonist, whether he asks for it or not!
The TV anime adaptation is brought to life by animation studio BLADE, with Koga Kazuomi directing the series. Fans will be delighted to know that the main cast from the drama CD version reprise their roles: Ishiya Haruki as Ooboshi Akiteru, Suzushiro Sayumi as Kohinata Iroha, Kusunoki Tomori as Tsukinomori Mashiro, Saitou Souma as Kohinata Otsuma, and Hanazawa Kana as Kageishi Sumire.
The story follows high school student Ooboshi Akiteru, who dismisses all aspects of youth romance as inefficient, believing in no-frills relationships and no need for a girlfriend. Yet, for some reason, Kohinata Iroha, the younger sister of his best friend, is always hanging out at his house. Despite being a popular, refined honor student at school, Iroha is inexplicably bothersome to Akiteru, constantly invading his space, monopolizing his bed, and even teasing him with sudden, suggestive moves. One day, Akiteru, already overwhelmed by this high-energy, annoyingly cute girl, encounters the “salty” type of girl, Mashiro. This encounter drastically changes the daily lives of Akiteru, Iroha, and their companions.
