Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru is based on a popular manga by Yuzuki Chihiro, serialized on Shueisha’s Manga Mee app. The story unfolds in a town where humans and beast-people coexist, depicting a poignant youth romance between Asagiri Mari, a high school girl, and Hidaka Tsunagu, a special transfer student who is a beast-person. This heartwarming tale of love blossoming across species began its anime broadcast on October 14th.
“Kimininaretara” – The Ending Theme Artwork and Concept

Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru: Anime Synopsis
In the year 20XX, beast-people subtly intertwine with human society. In a town where both humans and beast-people coexist, a special beast-person transfer student named Tsunagu arrives in the class of high schooler Mari. Initially bewildered by the presence of a beast-person, Mari finds herself drawn to Tsunagu’s gentle and pure nature as they spend time together as classmates. Tsunagu, in turn, becomes captivated by Mari’s “sweet scent” and is enchanted by her beauty and strength. However, in this world where beast-people are separated by a metaphorical wall, even a close friendship between a human and a beast-person draws curious stares. A romance, then, would be almost unthinkable… What will become of their love that transcends the boundaries of species?
