An exciting new event, “『Gotoubun no Hanayome』～GOTO AKIBA！～,” featuring brand new illustrations from the manga *Gotoubun no Hanayome*, is set to kick off on **November 14, 2025**. This limited-time collaboration will transform Atre Akihabara’s 1st and 2nd-floor special venues, showcasing stunning character displays both inside and outside the building, all based on freshly drawn artwork by author Haruba Negi. Of course, a wide array of original merchandise will also be available for fans to collect!
Haruba Negi’s beloved romantic comedy, *Gotoubun no Hanayome* (also known as The Quintessential Quintuplets), was serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine until February 2020. The heartwarming story follows Uesugi Fuutarou, a brilliant high school student, as he takes on the challenging role of a private tutor for the beautiful but academically struggling Nakano quintuplets: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki. His mission? To guide these charming, yet study-averse, sisters to graduation!
The series captivated audiences with its TV anime adaptations, with the first season airing from January to March 2019, followed by the second season, *Gotoubun no Hanayome∬*, from January to March 2021. The narrative reached its emotional climax with the movie, *Eiga Gotoubun no Hanayome*, released on May 20, 2022. This film beautifully depicted the “School Festival,” the final high school event for Fuutarou and the quintuplets, bringing their journey to a memorable close. Even after that, the story continued to unfold with additional animated works: *Gotoubun no Hanayome∽* was released in July 2023, adapting original manga episodes not covered in the TV series, and *Gotoubun no Hanayome＊*, depicting Fuutarou and the quintuplets’ much-anticipated honeymoon, hit theaters in September 2024.
