About the Source Material
The anime is based on the popular light novel series written by Takata with illustrations by Tom Osabe. The story first launched on the Kakuyomu website in November 2020 before being picked up for print under Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint. The eighth novel volume hit shelves in October 2024.
A manga adaptation, illustrated by Ono Rin, has also been running on the Alive+ web magazine since July 2022. For international fans, Yen Press has licensed the manga for English release.
