The upcoming winter anime “Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai” has just dropped the synopsis and a fresh batch of preview cuts for its very first episode, titled “Shuushoku Shimashita” (which can be translated as “I Got a Job”). The episode is scheduled to premiere on January 6, 2026 (Tuesday), marking the start of this highly anticipated series.

About the Anime
So, what’s this all about? “Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai” is a unique isekai BL (Boys’ Love) story that’s been turning heads. It’s based on the smash-hit novel series by August Hachi, which has sold over 2 million copies. The story throws a salaryman on the cusp of his thirties, Kondou Seiichirou, into a classic “saint summoning” mishap. Instead of a heroic adventure, he ends up in the Romāni Kingdom and, true to his corporate drone (“shachiku”) nature, immediately gets a job in the palace’s accounting department. There, he crosses paths with the cool and collected “ice prince,” Areshu Indoraaku. The twist? The harder he works in this fantasy world, the more romantic flags seem to pop up! It’s a fresh mix of office life, fantasy, and BL that promises a whole new kind of isekai experience.
The TV anime adaptation is being helmed by director Ishihira Shinji, with animation production handled by the seasoned Studio Deen. Leading the voice cast are Itou Kento as our dedicated salaryman Kondou Seiichirou and Maeno Tomoaki as the enigmatic prince Areshu Indoraaku.

There, he has a fateful encounter with Areshu Indoraaku, the captain of the Third Knight Order. Areshu delivers an unexpected warning: “Chancellor Kamiru has his eyes on you…” And just like that, Seiichirou’s simple plan to work hard gets complicated.
