Re:Zero Kicks Off 2026 with a Birthday Bash for Ram and Rem!
Mark your calendars, Re:Zero fans! From the TV anime Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (also known as Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-), the annual event celebrating the February 2nd birthday of the beloved twin maids, Ram and Rem, is returning for 2026. “Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Ram to Rem no Tanjoubi Seikatsu 2026 in Marui” will be held sequentially at Shibuya MODI and Kobe Marui.

For the uninitiated, Re:Zero is based on the light novel series by Nagatsuki Tappei. It follows the story of Natsuki Subaru, a boy suddenly summoned to another world on his way home from the convenience store. In this new world, Subaru gains the power to “Return by Death,” forcing him to loop back in time upon dying. The series depicts his brutal struggle against despair and a cruel fate as he fights to protect those precious to him.
Affectionately known as “Re:Zero” by fans, the TV anime’s 1st season aired from April to September 2016. It was followed by a 2nd season, and a 3rd season split into the “Assault” and “Counterattack” arcs. The highly anticipated 4th season is set to premiere in April 2026, coinciding with the launch of the TV anime’s 10th-anniversary project.

First Wave: Shibuya MODI – January 31 to February 8.
Second Wave: Kobe Marui – February 21 to March 1.
