Episode 2 Preview and Synopsis Are Out!
Get ready for more laid-back adventures! The winter anime “Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume.” (which can be translated as “The Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation”) has just dropped the synopsis and preview screenshots for episode 2, titled “Boukensha Koto Hajime” (“Adventurer Beginnings”), which starts airing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
About the Series
Dive into the popular isekai series! Odayaka Kizoku no Kyuuka no Susume. is a hit “leisurely noble x lone wolf” isekai fantasy that’s all about relaxed, mochamocha adventures. Originally a light novel by Misaki published under TO Books, it has sold over 2.1 million copies and also has a manga adaptation.
The story begins when a young man named Rizeru, who made a name for himself as a chancellor in a fantasy world’s great nation, one day finds himself transferred to another world. However, Rizeru remains calm even in the face of this unforeseen event and uses his excellent intellect and conversational skills to win over the hearts of people he meets for the first time. Furthermore, with the top-tier adventurer Jiru—a lone wolf who doesn’t flatter or obey anyone—as his companion, Rizeru becomes an adventurer himself and thoroughly enjoys his isekai life, calling it a “vacation”.
The TV anime is directed by Noda Kenta, with animation production by SynergySP and cooperation from Ascension. The cast features Saitou Souma as Rizeru and Umehara Yuuichirou as Jiru, with a supporting lineup of popular voice actors.

The two are about to take on a new request to deliver tools found in a dungeon to a collector, but the request is anonymous…
At the same time, Rizeru becomes curious about a four-person party he spots at the guild. Upon learning that this party is aiming to conquer a newly discovered dungeon and is struggling with the puzzles inside, Rizeru takes surprising action!?
