An anime film adaptation of the light novel Kimi to Hanabi to Yakusoku to (also known as You, Fireworks, and Our Promise) has been officially announced, with its premiere locked in for July 17, 2026 in Japanese theaters. The project was unveiled by production company Shochiku, who also opened the official website, sharing a beautiful teaser visual and the first key details.

This romantic tale is brought to life by a collaboration between animation studios SynergySP and The Answer Studio, with planning and production handled by Shin-Ei Animation. The film’s distribution will be a joint effort by Shochiku and Shin-Ei Animation.
