About the “Kuroshitsuji” Series
Kuroshitsuji is a dark fantasy series based on the manga by Toboso Yana, which has been serialized in the monthly magazine “G Fantasy” since the October 2006 issue. Set in 19th-century England, it follows the clandestine activities of Sebastian Michaelis, the butler of the prestigious Phantomhive family who acts as the “Queen’s Watchdog,” and his young master, Ciel Phantomhive, as they undertake dirty work in the underworld. The original manga has sold over 36 million copies worldwide and continues to captivate fans across the globe with its beautifully detailed world and diverse cast of characters.
The sixth anime adaptation, Kuroshitsuji -Public School Arc-, aired from April to June 2024. The story begins when Ciel receives a letter from the Queen informing him that several students, including one named Derrick, from the prestigious Weston College—one of Britain’s top boarding schools—have gone missing. Sebastian and Ciel infiltrate Weston College to investigate the incident.
