Originally penned by author Antai on Shousetsuka ni Narou back in 2017, this story turns the typical isekai power fantasy on its head. Imagine an afterlife so backlogged that your dream role—be it a Demon King or a cheat-powered Hero—has a waiting list of over 50,000 years.

Not willing to wait, our nameless protagonist, known only as “I”, opts for instant—and increasingly absurd—reincarnations. Forget royalty or legendary warriors; we’re talking about becoming a hero’s rib bone, a hermit crab, a vegetable, or even a bunch of explosives. It’s a hilarious and bizarre look at making the most of a seriously broken system.
