WakuWaku 2027: The Anime Industry’s Biggest Job Fair is Back for 2027 Grads!

Mark your calendars, future anime creators! The anime industry’s premier joint job fair, “WakuWaku 2027”, organized by WakuWork Inc., has officially been announced. The event is set to take place over two days, March 3rd (Tue) and 4th (Wed), 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center Taito馆.

Recognizing the growing importance of new graduate recruitment in the anime world, the fair returns to a two-day format for the first time in a while. It’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet, with 45 participating companies—that’s 6 more than last year!

Anime Industry Joint Job Fair WakuWaku 2027

The core concept remains unchanged from its first iteration: “You don’t have to be good at drawing!!!”. It’s not just animation studios; production companies, merchandise manufacturers, anime media outlets, and more will be there. The goal is to create connections between a wide range of companies and students with diverse skills.

With over 600 tickets already reserved and an expected total attendance of more than 1,000 people across the two days, “WakuWaku 2027” is the place to be. If you’ve ever dreamed of working in anime, this is your chance to take the first step!

  • 13:00-15:00: All Participants Company Booth Visits
  • 15:00-18:00: Portfolio Consultations
