Skip and Loafer Exhibition Heads to Osaka!
The “Sukippu to Roofaa” exhibition, which can be translated as “Skip and Loafer,” is making its way to Osaka! The Osaka venue will be held at Namba Parks Museum (on the 7th floor of Namba Parks). Mark your calendars for a 23-day run from Saturday, March 14th to Sunday, April 5th, 2026.
About the Heartwarming Series
The source material, Sukippu to Roofaa, is a school life comedy manga serialized by Takamatsu Misaki in “Monthly Afternoon.” It follows the story of Iwakura Mitsumi, a girl from the countryside who aces the entrance exam to a prestigious high school in Tokyo. With a perfect life plan in mind, she moves to the big city alone. Described as “book-smart but with a unique sense of distance and a little off-kilter,” her天然 (tennen, meaning natural or airheaded) personality gently influences her diverse classmates, making for a delightful and relatable narrative.
The TV anime adaptation aired from April 2023 and was a hit, capturing the original’s cozy atmosphere while portraying the authentic growth of its high school characters. A second season has been confirmed and is in production, much to fans’ delight.
Exhibition Journey and Ticket Info
This “Sukippu to Roofaa” exhibition is the franchise’s first crossover event featuring both manga and anime. It started in Tokyo on January 2nd, 2026, and will travel to Nagoya, Osaka, and Kanazawa across four venues.
Following the Tokyo and Nagoya (until March 1st, 2026) stops, the Osaka venue has been set at Namba Parks Museum. Along with this announcement, advance “pre-sale tickets” will go on sale starting at 10:00 AM on January 31st via “Ticket Pia.”
In addition to standard pre-sale tickets, a limited-quantity “Admission Ticket with Goods” will be available. This special ticket comes with a pouch featuring a famous scene from the manga printed inside—a must-have item for any dedicated fan.
What to Expect at the Exhibition
The exhibition promises an immersive dive into the world of Sukippu to Roofaa. Visitors can look forward to seeing original manga manuscripts that capture the series’ most memorable moments and the characters’ essence. Various displays will offer multiple angles to enjoy the story’s universe.
A special display focused on the anime’s opening, titled “Runrun no Opening,” awaits fans. The exhibition will also showcase replica manga artwork, anime setting materials, and art background references, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the production process.
Beyond the displays, there will be photo spots where you can snap pictures with character cutouts and exhibition spaces recreating story settings and everyday scenes. Furthermore, an exclusive “Nikoniko no Omake Theater” will feature a special screening of “voice comic videos” based on the bonus manga from the tankōbon volumes.

A wide array of original goods will be available for purchase, using artwork from the manga, anime, and exhibition visuals. Highlights include acrylic stands featuring original illustrations and a “pair plush mascot” of Mitsumi and Shima. The lineup is packed with items sure to please every fan.

- Even with a disability certificate, an admission ticket is required. However, one caregiver may enter for free.
