New “Balletcore” Merchandise for “Gotoubun no Hanayome＊” is Here!
From the TV special anime Gotoubun no Hanayome＊ (also known as The Quintessential Quintuplets), a new line of goods featuring the Nakano quintuplets dressed in cute “Balletcore” fashion has appeared. Pre-orders are now open on the mail-order site “Charalog.”
Gotoubun no Hanayome, a love comedy manga serialized by Negi Haruba in Weekly Shounen Magazine until February 2020, tells the story of top student protagonist Uesugi Fuutarou who becomes a tutor for the beautiful but academically struggling Nakano quintuplets, guiding them to graduation.
The TV anime’s first season aired from January to March 2019, with the second season Gotoubun no Hanayome∬ airing from January to March 2021. The movie Gotoubun no Hanayome, depicting the final high school event, the “school festival,” for Fuutarou and the quints, was released on May 20, 2022, bringing the story to its climax. Later, Gotoubun no Hanayome∽, which animated manga episodes not covered in the TV series, was released in July 2023, and Gotoubun no Hanayome＊, depicting the newlyweds’ honeymoon, was released in September 2024.

Nakano Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki appear in “Balletcore” outfits using newly drawn illustrations. Balletcore, inspired by ballerina fashion, is popular for its girly style.
This time, the quintuplets showcase a new charm in “Balletcore” outfits based on their respective image colors. The item lineup includes staple goods like “Acrylic Stands” and “Clear File & Bromide Sets,” as well as a “Tapestry”“Heart Handle Mug.”
