Uma Musume Cinderella Gray Exhibition “Monster’s Hoofprints” Now Open at Animate Ikebukuro!
The event “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray EXHIBITION― Monster’s Hoofprints ―“, where you can re-live the story of the TV anime ‘Uma Musume Cinderella Gray‘, is currently being held at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store’s “Space Galleria” from January 30th to March 2nd. A photo report from the event has now been released.
At the entrance of the “Uma Musume Cinderella Gray EXHIBITION― Monster’s Hoofprints ―“, you can enjoy a fun back-and-forth between Oguri Cap (CV: Takayanagi Tomoha) and Tamamo Cross (CV: Ozora Naomi) as they relay the viewing precautions. There’s also voice content you can listen to on your smartphone via a QR code, so be sure to check out their talk.
Walking Through the Memories
The Memorial Walk corner features standing illustrations of each character. With the floor designed to look like turf, you can soak in the atmosphere of the racecourse where the Uma Musume stand.
Reliving the Story
Next, you move into a corner that retraces the story in order, from the first cour to the second cour. Alongside original animation cels and explanations from each episode, you follow the journey from the local circuits (Kasamatsu) to the central stage (Twinkle Series). There are areas recreating famous scenes from the show and important items, including a surprisingly imposing display of the mountain of croquettes Oguri Cap was eating.
Iconic Poses and Gear
A mannequin recreating Oguri Cap’s forward-leaning running posture perfectly captures the depth of her stride. There’s also a display of Oguri Cap & Tamamo Cross’s “shoubu-fuku” (racing outfits), allowing for appreciation of the fine details. The starting gate the Uma Musume enter before a race is also recreated, and you can actually step inside it to take commemorative photos.
Special Video Content
A corner where you can watch a special video features edited footage from the anime, produced specifically for this event. It includes newly recorded voice lines, making it a must-see for fans.
Exclusive Goods for Sale
The goods corner is selling merchandise for each Uma Musume appearing in ‘Uma Musume Cinderella Gray‘. Alongside staple items like acrylic stands and clear files, the lineup also includes unique goods like keychain “katiusha” (headbands) that recreate the ears of Oguri Cap and Tamamo Cross.
