So, what exactly is “Oshiri Mae Man”? It’s the brainchild of anime and illustration creator Takashi Taniguchi. Taniguchi has been turning heads with his solo-produced anime, where he does everything from directing and scripting to drawing, editing, voice acting, and even singing—all by himself. He started out on YouTube with works like the anime “Mori no Andou”.

The story follows an original hero born from a simple doodle: Oshiri Mae Man. He tackles all sorts of daily troubles, facing down harsh trials and meeting new companions along the way.

Evolution into a Theatrical Scale

The movie version, “Oshiri Mae Man ~Fukkatsu no Oshiri Mae Teikoku~”, was announced back in December 2025. True to form, Taniguchi himself is handling the core production—direction, script, art, voice, and music—for this film too.
