Expanding Horizons for the 13th Edition
Marking its 13th year since the first event back in 2014, AnimeJapan 2026 is returning to the same Tokyo Big Sight venue that was buzzing with over 150,000 fans last time. This year, it’s pushing the boundaries even further by incorporating the East Exhibition Halls, South Exhibition Halls, and the rooftop exhibition area. We’re talking about the largest floor space ever and a record-breaking lineup of over 120 exhibitors—this is going to be epic!
In more exciting news, the idol group Sakurazaka46 has been appointed as ambassadors for the second year running, and everyone’s eager to see what they have in store. Their activities, including the award ceremony for the “Manga Ranking 2026 for Which You Want an Anime Adaptation” on March 4th, are sure to add extra sparkle to the AnimeJapan 2026 festivities.
