From Hokuto no Ken, wristwatches inspired by Kenshiro and Raoh have been released. Sales began on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the PREMICO online shop.
Hokuto no Ken is an action manga created by Buronson (story) and Tetsuo Hara (art), with over 100 million copies in print. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in 1983, its overwhelming artwork, world view, and character visuals, along with the life of protagonist Kenshiro who defeats evil with the ultimate assassination fist “Hokuto Shinken,” captured readers’ hearts and gained popularity.
TV anime began airing in 1984. In 2023, the 40th anniversary of the original manga, a new anime titled Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR- was announced, and it has been airing and streaming since April 10, 2026.
The newly released items are collaboration watches with the watch brand Seiko. These are Seiko chronograph models inspired by protagonist Kenshiro and his arch-rival Raoh from the anime Hokuto no Ken -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR-, which depicts the battles of Hokuto Shinken successor Kenshiro against powerful enemies in a post-apocalyptic world.
In addition to a stopwatch and calendar function, the hour and minute hands feature Lumibrite (luminous paint) that glows in the dark. The case back is engraved with character illustrations and an edition number.
The “Kenshiro Model” features a sharp blue dial accented with a stylishly sparkling Big Dipper. It evokes the seven scars carved into Kenshiro’s chest, and the three-dimensional motif gives it a strong presence.
The sub-dials feature a design reminiscent of the effect when striking pressure points, along with the words “Hokuto Shinken.” The design evokes the pride and destiny of the 64th successor of Hokuto Shinken.
The “Raoh Model” has a powerful red dial elegantly adorned with a golden shine befitting the Conqueror of the Century’s End. The dial bears the title “Ken-Oh” (Fist King), fitting for Raoh who pursues the path of tyranny.
The sub-dials feature the silhouette of Raoh’s beloved horse, Kuro-O, and the Ken-Oh army emblem. The design evokes the way of life of the Conqueror of the Century’s End, who inspires both fear and admiration among the strong.
The watch comes in a special box with the series logo foil-stamped on the top. The inside flap features illustrations of each character.
Each model is limited to 2000 pieces. Shipments are scheduled to begin sequentially from early October 2026.
