The official website for the television anime adaptation of Misawa Kei‘s manga “Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai” to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai shitekimasu (also known as The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me yet Showers Me with Adoration) announced an additional pair of cast members on Wednesday. The series is set to premiere on TV Asahi and BS Asahi in July 2026.
New Cast Additions
Voice actors Kimura Ryouhei (known for Akujiki Reijou to Kyouketsu Koushaku) and Suzuki Ryouta (Fate/strange Fake) are joining the cast as Alexis Yosef Lart and Iere Ecluse, respectively.

Staff
Matsui Hitoyuki (Karakuri Zoushi Ayatsuri Sakon) is directing the anime at Zero-G and Grass. Konparu Tomoko (Kimi ni Todoke) is handling series composition. Yahiro Yuuko (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) is designing the characters, while Michiru (Given) is composing the music.
Manga Background
Misawa began serializing the fantasy romance manga on the BookLive web service in February 2021, with illustrations by Mizuno Natsu. Flex Comix published the fifth volume on March 13. The manga is also available in English on the MangaPlaza web service. A novel adaptation launched on BookLive in October 2021.
