Additional Cast Revealed
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Amara‘s Neko to Ryuu (The Cat and the Dragon) light novel has announced additional cast members, a second key visual, and a promotional video. The series is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and Yomiuri TV in July 2026.

Staff
Jin-Gu Oh (Ooi! Tonbo) is directing the series at OLM. Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) is handling series composition. Character designs are by Chiaki Kurakazu (Pokemon (2023) animation director) and Rie Nishino (Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin). Takahiro Obata (Yakusoku no Neverland) is composing the music.
Background
Amara began writing the fantasy story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2013. Takarajimasha began publishing the light novel in April 2016, with illustrations by Mai Okuma. The ninth volume was released in November 2025. A manga adaptation by Izumi Sasaki began serializing on Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Web in September 2017. The 11th volume was released in November 2025.
