Netflix’s hit animated film KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters, currently streaming exclusively on Netflix, will be shown in theaters for a limited 9-day run starting Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The film follows the double life of HUNTR/X, a hugely popular K-POP girl group that also works as stylish demon hunters behind the scenes.
Since its release in June 2025, the film became a global phenomenon thanks to its catchy songs, polished dance numbers, and high-energy battle scenes. It went on to become Netflix’s most-streamed movie ever and won numerous awards including Golden Globe, Grammy, Annie, and Academy Awards, thrilling both the film and music industries.

Netflix film KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters achieved the feat of winning both Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards ceremony.
The screenings will feature a “sing-along version” with lyrics for the film’s songs, including the hit theme song “Golden” that sparked mass sing-alongs. Two screening formats will be offered: a vocal-allowed sing-along screening and a regular quiet screening. During singing scenes, the English audio will display English subtitles for lyrics, while dialogue scenes will have English audio with Japanese subtitles. Celebrate the first anniversary of the film’s release (with a sequel already in production) by singing along with HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys!
Netflix film KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters will be shown at select theaters from June 10 (Wed) to June 18 (Thu).
