
The TV anime Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu and the online shop ANIMATION ADDICT STORE are collaborating on a new brand, neneon. Pre-orders for the collaboration goods have begun.

Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu is a youth horror series serialized by Mokumoku Ren in Young Ace UP, with a novelization by Mio Nukaga. It follows ordinary high school boy Yoshiki (Tsujinaka Yoshiki) as he experiences various strange events alongside Hikaru, a mysterious being who imitates his childhood friend Kido Hikaru.
The TV anime was directed and series-composed by Ryohei Takeshita (Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night), with character design and chief animation direction by Yuichi Takahashi, “gory animator” Masanobu Hiraoka, and animation production by CygamesPictures. The cast includes Chiaki Kobayashi as Yoshiki (Tsujinaka Yoshiki) and Shuichiro Umeda as Hikaru. It aired from July to September 2025, and a second season has been greenlit.
