TV anime ‘Nintama Rantarou’ inspired andon lanterns are now available for pre-order. Orders are accepted at all Animate stores and Animate Online Shop until June 14, 2026.
Nintama Rantarou is a TV anime series based on the manga ‘Rakudai Ninja Rantarou’ by Soubee Amako. Set in the Sengoku period, it follows the daily lives of ninja trainees including Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbei as they study at the Ninjutsu Academy.
The Nintama Rantarou andon lanterns are part of the ‘animate LIMITED SELECTION (AniSere)’ project, a collaboration between Animate and merchandise manufacturers. There are three designs: I-gumi, Ro-gumi, and Ha-gumi. Each features different illustrations of the students belonging to that class.
Dimensions: approx. 12 cm wide x 20 cm tall. Material: untreated pine wood. The shade features color printing. Compatible with E26 base bulbs (LED only). Release date: October 2, 2026. Price: 8,800 yen each (tax included).
