The Blu-ray and DVD of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1 – Akaza’s Return will be released on July 29, 2026. The “Aniplex Online Limited Edition,” available at the official Aniplex online shop, comes with a luxurious bundle bonus: a non-scale figure of Hakuji and Koyuki.
Demon Slayer is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, published by Shueisha in Jump Comics with 23 volumes and over 220 million copies in circulation. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his demonized sister Nezuko back into a human. The series is known for its poignant tale of humans and demons, intense sword fights, charming characters, and occasional comedic scenes.
Animation is by ufotable, starting with the TV anime Demon Slayer: Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc in April 2019. The Infinity Castle Arc is a theatrical trilogy depicting the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons. Chapter 1 – Akaza’s Return premiered on July 18, 2025, and concluded its run on April 9, 2026 (except in some theaters). Over 266 days of release, it drew 27,455,968 viewers and grossed 40,200,190,000 yen, making it the second highest-grossing domestic film in history after the previous Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.
The Blu-ray and DVD of this film will be released on July 29, and the “Aniplex Online Limited Edition” available at the Aniplex Online store comes packed with luxurious bonuses.
The bundled “Hakuji & Koyuki Non-scale Figure” stands about 150mm tall, recreating a scene from the film where the two embrace. It is a must-see item for fans.
