The “PreCure” series began with Futari wa PreCure which aired on February 1, 2004, as the first original long-running TV anime series. Each year, with new motifs and themes, the story follows ordinary girls who transform into “PreCure” to protect their everyday lives, confront various enemies, and grow through bonds with friends they meet.
The currently airing latest series, Meitantei PreCure!, is the 23rd entry in the franchise, widely loved as a depiction of children’s “dreams.” The story follows 14-year-old second-year middle school student Akechi Anna, who is guided by mysterious powers and time-slips from the present to 1999. There she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, a girl her age who dreams of becoming a detective. The two transform into “Meitantei PreCure” to help people who have had important things stolen and to confront the phantom thief group “Phantom” that causes incidents. Akechi Anna (Cure Answer) is voiced by Chiga Mitsuri, and Kobayashi Mikuru (Cure Mystic) is voiced by Hondo Kaede.
The “PreCure Card Wafer 13 (20 pieces)” is the 13th installment of wafer snacks featuring original, newly drawn illustrations of past and present PreCure characters. The cards are premium metallic plastic cards, and all 29 types feature exclusive original illustrations with careful composition and coloring.
