TV anime Ranma 1/2 has revealed new merchandise themed around the Neko Hanten (Cat Cafe) where Shampoo works. Orders are now being accepted at the Village Vanguard online store.
Ranma 1/2 is a classic manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1987 to 1996, still immensely popular today. The story begins when Chinese-trained father Soun Tendo and his son Ranma arrive at the Tendo house. But what appears is a giant panda and a cute girl?! After training in China, Ranma has acquired a strange constitution: when splashed with cold water he turns into a girl, and with hot water he returns to being a boy. This invincible martial arts romantic comedy continues to charm audiences as Ranma and his colorful friends laugh, cry, and sometimes fall in love.
Starting October 2024, a completely new TV anime series Ranma 1/2 began airing. The returning cast generated huge buzz, and excitement has continued from before broadcast to the present. The second season of Ranma 1/2 airs from October 2025 on Nippon TV. The third season is set to start in October 2026 on Nippon TV, with subsequent nationwide broadcasts on the Nippon TV network.
