Sanrio characters Hello Kitty and My Melody are getting a new lollipop chocolate release. It will be available nationwide from June 2, 2026 (Tuesday) for a limited time.
In the currently ongoing “2026 Sanrio Character Ranking,” the interim results have been announced. Pompompurin, who took first place last year for the first time in nine years, currently holds the top spot. After coming second in the initial announcement, Pompompurin has surged to first place, with strong support overseas including provisional first place in 11 countries and regions. Following in second place is Cinnamoroll, and third place is Pochacco. All eyes are on the final results.
Hello Kitty and My Melody are currently ranked 5th and 6th respectively. Both are long-beloved characters, so expectations are high for a leap forward in the final results.
Now, these two characters appear as sun-tanned designs on lollipop chocolates. The tanned faces are expressed using four colors of chocolate, creating a visual perfect for the approaching summer season.
