Voice actor idol unit i☆Ris has issued a strong warning against fans who misuse photographs taken during live performances, announcing the immediate cancellation of designated photography times on their ongoing national tour. The double-managed unit (by Avex Group and 81 Produce) made the announcement via their official X account on May 21, 2026.
In the statement, the group reported that “during the live shooting-allowed time, a fan has been confirmed to have repurposed photos taken by attendees and posted content that violates moral standards.” i☆Ris emphasized that using such images with unethical or insulting expressions infringes on the artists’ moral rights and portrait rights, and that such actions are unacceptable. The unit demanded the immediate deletion of the offending posts and warned that they are “considering strict measures, including legal action, depending on the situation.”
As a direct result, the “shooting-allowed time” segment—usually a window during which fans are permitted to take photos—will be suspended for the remainder of the current tour. The tour, titled “i☆Ris 11th Live Tour 2026～VINTAGEイイ味出てます～”, kicked off on May 2 at a venue in Saitama and is the unit’s eleventh nationwide tour. Members include Yamakita Saki, Serizawa Yuu, Akaneya Himika, Wakai Yuki, and Kubota Miyu.
In response to the incident, member Serizawa Yuu posted a message: “First, let’s enjoy the tour to the end! I’ll make you have so much fun you forget the bad stuff!” Other members also shared similar sentiments, urging fans to focus on the positive experience of the shows.
The decision has drawn strong reactions from the fan community. Comments include: “I wish those people would understand that the extreme actions of a few are causing trouble for many,” “It’s really unfair that fans who follow the rules are the ones losing out,” “They should just abolish this kind of fan service altogether,” and “I can’t forgive anyone who causes my oshi to suffer like this.”

- May 30 – Sendai PIT (Miyagi)
- May 31 – KT Zepp Yokohama (Kanagawa)
- July 19 – Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tokyo) – final show; tickets still available
Looking ahead, i☆Ris will provide the ending theme for the TV anime “炎の闘球女 ドッジ弾子” set to premiere in July 2026. Additionally, member Wakai Yuki has been cast as a key character—Nikaidou Heiko, the rival of protagonist Dannshi—in the same anime, further heightening expectations for the unit’s activities.
